Croissance urbaine, effets de productivite et services aux entreprises: Une analyse des departements metropolitains

Abstract

L'existence d'un lien entre les services aux entreprises et la croissance des agglomerations semble clairement demontre. La croissance economique d'un espace depend de sa capacite a renouveler constamment son offre de facteurs de production. Ce sont ces facteurs endogenes, dans lesquels CATIN (1995a) distingue des effets de productivite et de competitivite, qui determinentr la capacite d'exportation future d'une region et donc son dynamisme a long terme. C'est sur le role des services aux entreprises dans les effets de productivite et de competitivite que nous voulons nous pencher ici.
