"Le mirage de la justice sociale": faut-il craindre qu'Hayek n'ait raison?

Abstract

En matiere de justice sociale, Hayek suscite un commentaire ambivalent: sous-produit d'une demarche evolutionnists, sa coherence et son realisme sont dificiles a prendre en defaut, consequences de fortes convictions liberales, la formulation adoptee est souvent provocante. A l'egard du "mirage de la justice sociale", on soutiendra ici que le point de vue hayekien est moins radical qu'il n'y parait: d'une part, les regles abstraites de justice traduisent, par leur impartialite, une conception exigenate de la justice en societe, d'autre part le souci de Hayel d'amortir le risque du marche pourrait etre mieux satisfait par une relle allocation universelle que par le revenu minimum que lui-meme preconise.
