Erfolgsfaktoren der Nachwuchsförderung in Sportverbänden

Abstract

Eine gut funktionierende Nachwuchsförderung bildet die Basis für spätere Spitzenleistungen im Sport und wird darum von Verbänden als eine der wichtigsten Aufgaben überhaupt angesehen. Der Erfolg dieser lässt sich aber durch das Verbandsmanagement nur bedingt steuern, wie eine am VMI durchgeführte Studie zeigt. Zwar kann durch die Gestaltung der Verbandsstruktur und -strategie dazu beitragen werden, eine auf der operativen Ebene möglichst optimale Nachwuchsförderung zu implementieren, am Ende geben jedoch oftmals die verfügbaren Ressourcen Ausschlag über Erfolg oder Misserfolg.
