Abstract

Este libro, basado en la experiencia de campo del IFPRI y en la interacción con diversas organizaciones asociadas, está dirigido a ayudar a los practicantes del desarrollo a superar estas restricciones. La audiencia principal es la operativa—agencias de asistencia bilaterales o multilaterales, organizaciones no gubernamentales (ONGs), gobiernos de países en desarrollo y otros practicantes del desarrollo activamente involucrados en aspectos de seguridad alimentaria y nutrición. El libro ofrece un marco para pensar acerca de qué proyectos serían más apropiados en una situación dada e indica qué tipos de información se requieren para maximizar el impacto del proyecto. También puede ayudar haciendo que los practicantes del desarrollo se familiaricen completamente con los conceptos de seguridad alimentaria y nutrición.
