Quelle moralité pour le coaching en entreprise? Á l’écoute des praticiens

Abstract

Le coaching, en tant que pratique d’accompagnement des managers au service d’objectifs professionnels, occupe largement la scène médiatique. Au-delà des vertus notamment humanistes dont le coaching se pare volontiers, les discours des praticiens tentent de justifier la moralité d’une profession naissante. Ainsi, les fédérations édictent des chartes déontologiques, proposent une contractualisation de la démarche coaching et invitent les coachs à la supervision pour faire face notamment à la délicate question du transfert inhérente à la relation coachcoaché. Cette mise en oeuvre collective constitue un levier puissant de légitimation proclamée qui n’évacue pas la question de l’éthique personnelle du coach.
