El nivel educativo de la población en España y sus regiones: actualización hasta 2019 (RegDatEdu_v51_1960_2019)

Abstract

Utilizando datos de la EPA, en este trabajo se extienden hasta 2019 las series anuales del nivel educativo de la población para España y sus regiones elaboradas en de la Fuente y Doménech (2016) para el período 1960-2011. Los resultados de esta actualización indican que entre 2011 y 2019 el número de años de educación ha aumentado un 8,9% en el conjunto de España, de 9,5 a 10,4 años, pero que no se ha avanzado en el proceso de convergencia del capital humano entre las regiones españolas, a diferencia de lo ocurrido en las décadas anteriores.
