Türk Rekabet Politikasının Etkinliği Üzerine Değerlendirmeler ve Daha Etkin Bir Rekabet Politikası İçin Öneriler

Abstract

Son yıllarda rekabet politikalarının etkinliğine ilişkin çalışmalar artmaktadır. Söz konusu çalışmalarda çok çeşitli yöntemler benimsenmektedir. Bu yöntemler niteliksel veya niceliksel olabilmekte, makro ekonomi veya sektörler üzerindeki etkileri incelemek üzere genel kapsamlı ya da yaptırma konu olan belirli bir piyasadaki etkileri değerlendirmek üzere özel kapsamlı tutulabilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’deki rekabet politikasının en önemli aktörü konumunda bulunan Rekabet Kurumunun faaliyetleri çerçevesinde, Türk rekabet politikasının rekabetçi piyasaların tesis edilmesi sürecindeki katkısını değerlendirmek ve daha etkin bir rekabet politikası için öneriler sunmaktır. Bu amaçla çalışmada hem Kurum faaliyetlerine ilişkin veriler hem de bağımsız örgütlerce derlenen veriler, farklı ülkelerin rekabet politikalarına ilişkin verilerle de mukayese edilmek suretiyle, niteliksel yaklaşımla ele alınıp yorumlanmaktadır.
