Abstract

Banking in India and globally is undergoing and there are many challenges that are lying ahead. The basic underlying theme that runs through this changing landscape is the ever increasing reliance on technology to cater to the needs of faster, accurate, and efficient banking operations, both in volume and value terms, across the entire spectrum from routine backend operations to the data intensive computing for regulatory compliance to sophisticated front end multimedia interface with the customers.
