Abstract

This inaugural piece addresses a fundamental problem of communication – how to effectively talk about an issue. It’s not as simple as it seems. Its always known that people did not always “hear” what is said. Now, with the help of cognitive science one can have a better understanding of what people do hear.[BERKELEY MEDIA STUDIES GROUP]
