Abstract

Indira Gandhi Matritva Sahyog Yojana (IGMSY) is a Conditional Maternity Benefit (CMB) Scheme of the Government of India launched in 2010. The scheme is being implemented by the Ministry of Women and Child Development (WCD), Government of India. The Subject Matter Division in NITI Aayog had requested the Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO), NITI Aayog to conduct a quick evaluation of IGMSY with an objective to assess the impact of the programme on pregnant women and lactating mothers.
