El futuro de las relaciones laborales en tiempos de pandemia

Abstract

En este artículo, ofrezco una lectura del contexto europeo en la tercera década del siglo XXI. Discuto, en primer lugar, hasta qué punto persisten “las variedades del capitalismo” y las implicaciones para los sindicatos de los cambios en los regímenes de relaciones laborales. En segundo lugar, considero algunas de las ambigüedades de la regulación de la UE. ¿Es la “Europa Social” todavía un baluarte contra la liberalización del mercado? En tercer lugar, recurro a Polanyi para examinar el aumento de las situaciones de trabajo precario, incluida la aparición de la “economía de plataforma”. Por último, comento el impacto del Covid-19 y de la crisis climática, antes de concluir con algunas breves observaciones finales sobre las respuestas sindicales.
