Abstract

Señala aspectos preponderantes de la reforma educativa peruana en relación con la democratización de la educación básica regular, tomando como término de referencia no sólo propósitos y realizaciones del nuevo sistema, sino también el desempeño de la educación primaria y secundaria en los últimos ocho años anteriores al proceso de reformas iniciado en 1968.
