Abstract

Contiene una exposicion general sobre aspectos conceptuales y metodologicos de la planificacion del transporte en los paises en desarrollo, y de las actuales actividades en materia de transporte en el Caribe. Presenta un programa detallado del trabajo elaborado sobre la base de un enfoque multimodal y de integracion de la planificacion del transporte. Reune las ideas tendientes al establecimiento de un programa de investigaciones integrado y permanente, y se hacen algunas sugerencias para establecer vinculos institucionales. Formula tambien algunas recomendaciones, las que tienen por finalidad iniciar un programa de trabajo en materia de transporte para los paises del CDCC.
