Abstract

Analiza la agricultura de riego en el contexto de la agricultura nacional; la política hidroagrícola en el período 1926-1958; los instrumentos de la política de riego en el período 1959-1976; los distritos de riego como marco de la aplicación de la política hidroagrícola; el área de obras hidráulicas para el desarrollo rural y el área de riego no controlado. Pretende rescatar de este análisis los aciertos y errores que sirvan de base en la formulación de una política hidroagrícola más positiva.
