Abstract

El propósito de esta guía básica es orientar y facilitar el trabajo de investigación de los nuevos usuarios y de usuarios activos de las bases de datos de comercio internacional a partir de una breve presentación de conceptos y nomenclaturas. Asimismo, se pretende aclarar dudas recurrentes de usuarios activos en la consulta de dichas bases. La guía se limita a presentar una escueta descripción de las bases de datos de la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL);, así como otras bases de las Naciones Unidas administradas por la División de Estadísticas de las Naciones Unidas (UNSD);, la Conferencia de las Naciones Unidas sobre Comercio y Desarrollo (UNCTAD, por sus siglas en inglés);, el Centro de Comercio Internacional (CCI);, el Banco Mundial y la Organización Mundial de Comercio (OMC);.
