Abstract

Contribuye al proceso colectivo de reflexion para examinar la insercion de America Latina y el Caribe en la nueva economia internacional, por lo cual los paises de la region deben prepararse para enfrentar las transformaciones en la estructura internacional de la produccion, la demanda y el comercio, provocadas por cambios en los paises industrializados; y tratar de restablecer la consistencia del planteamiento latinoamericano y retomar la iniciativa en las negociaciones internacionales, a partir de un esfuerzo nacional de transformacion estructural, y de la valorizacion real de los mecanismos de cooperacion regional.
