Desarrollo de la telesalud en América Latina: aspectos conceptuales y estado actual

Abstract

Este libro es el resultado de un importante esfuerzo de alcance regional destinado a elaborar y compartir protocolos de política pública necesarios para impulsar el desarrollo de la salud electrónica en la región, el que contó con la participación de un gran número de especialistas en el marco del proyecto sProtocolos Regionales de Políticas Públicas en Telesalud para América Latina". En él, junto a los aspectos conceptuales más relevantes, se exponen los avances y esfuerzos realizados por 11 países de la región que, desde su heterogeneidad, revelan el dinamismo que ha tomado la incorporación de las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones en el sector sanitario, así como la riqueza de oportunidades para el aprendizaje mutuo y el trabajo colaborativo.
