Fecundidad, planificación familiar y salud reproductiva en el Perú

Abstract

Previo la discusión del proceso de transición de la fecundidad y las tendencias futuras, el análisis se centra en: a) las desigualdades en el comportamiento reproductivo con énfasis en las desigualdades geográficas y los diferenciales por educación, ocupación y estratos sociales; b) los determinantes próximos de los cambios en la fecundidad; c) la planificación familiar; el uso de métodos anticonceptivos, los diferenciales de uso, la fecundidad deseada y la demanda insatisfecha de servicios; d) el embarazo y la fecundidad adolescente: tendencias y factores asociados a la maternidad precoz y consecuencias psicosociales de la misma; e) problemas en salud reproductiva: atención en salud reproductiva, enfermedades de transmisión sexual, aborto provocado y mortalidad materna.
