Abstract

El documento consta de 2 partes. La primera de ellas proporciona un diagnóstico de las tendencias demográficas de la región orientado a políticas en el marco de la transformación productiva con equidad. La segunda parte se centra en las políticas de población, relevando los parámetros de la equidad, la transformación productiva y la descentralización; las orientaciones para políticas relativas al crecimiento de la población, a la distribución geográfica y a la migración internacional con énfasis, entre otros, en las acciones y los medios, los grupos objetivo y los aspectos institucionales así como en el impacto de las políticas implementadas.
