Abstract

El estudio explora el nexo entre la distribución espacial de la población en América Latina, sus causas y el posible impacto de políticas y programas de descentralización sobre los procesos que inciden en dicha distribución. Se describen las ramificaciones de la descentralización en la relación e interacción dinámicas entre la distribución de las oportunidades económicas y sociales y los desplazamientos y distribución de los grupos de población en el espacio.
