Abstract

Presenta la experiencia de la empresa uruguaya Metzen y Sena como un ejemplo de especial interés por su éxito al entrar en mercados externos exigentes y por la forma en que la empresa incorporó los avances tecnológicos. Deja en claro que el factor transporte influye fuertemente en las posibilidades de exportar un producto frágil y de bajo valor unitario, como es el caso de los productos cerámicos.
