Exportaciones latinoamericanas de productos básicos: situación y perspectivas

Abstract

Examina las características de: productos básicos; crisis del comercio exterior de América Latina; determinantes estructurales de largo plazo; cambios en las reglas de juego de la economía internacional; y grandes tendencias del mercado internacional. Analiza la situación y perspectivas de los principales productos exportados por la región y la cooperación internacional en productos básicos. Presenta líneas principales de acción para la diversificación y expansión del comercio intrarregional y para la reducción de la inestabilidad de ingresos y precios.
