Abstract

Analiza las relaciones económicas internacionales de América Latina y el Caribe, tanto en lo que se refiere a rasgos sobresalientes de su evolución en los últimos años y a elementos sobre su posible trayectoria en el futuro, así como a ciertas opciones de política que se plantean para la región ante tales tendencias y perspectivas. En relación a la integración y cooperación regional, trata los temas de las negociaciones e instrumentos para revitalizar el comercio regional, la búsqueda de fórmulas de convergencia entre la integración y la cooperación, y el sector servicios en el intercambio intrarregional.
