Abstract

Se plantean algunos aspectos de la informacion demografica respecto a los cuales interesa la opinion de los planificadores. Es importante saber como piensan las personas encargadas de la planificacion respecto a las relaciones entre el desarrollo economico y social y la dinamica de la poblacion; que tipo de datos y estudios demograficos son mas utiles a la planificacion; la necesidad y los requisitos de los estudios demograficos regionales. Tambien interesa, dada la interdependencia de los fenomenos sociales y demograficos, conocer las medidas necesarias para llegar a una integracion de lo demografico en la planificacion, en cuanto a investigaciones, formacion de personal e instituciones responsables
