Abstract

El aporte del CELADE al analisis nacional de los datos de la Encuesta Mundial de Fecundidad en la region se visualiza en terminos de: a).la definicion de las areas tematicas relevantes para politicas de poblacion; b).el desarrollo de investigaciones "modelo" en algunas areas; c).asistencia tecnica directa y no-directa a los paises. La implementacion de estas actividades requiere de la creacion de un sub-programa que debera, ademas, coordinar la participacion de otros sub-programas del Centro
