Panorama del cambio climático en Colombia

Abstract

El Departamento Nacional de Planeación (DNP) con el apoyo del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) y la Comisión Económica inició a comienzos de 2009 la elaboración de un Estudio Nacional para la estimación de los costos económicos del cambio climático en Colombia. El estudio desarrolló directamente la estimación de los costos relacionados con los impactos del cambio clim ático en la economía colombiana por efectos en la agricultura y los ecosistemas y los costos de mitigación de las emisiones de los gases la información disponible sobre impactos y costos del cambio climático para obtener un panorama completo sobre los demás impactos y sectores de la economía. Aunque se tiene previsto que el estudio sea de largo plazo este documento presenta sus primeros resultados hasta el primer semestre de 2010.
