Seguridad energética: análisis y evaluación del caso de México

Abstract

Este estudio tiene el objetivo de dar a conocer el estado que guarda la seguridad energética en México. En su elaboración se han tomado en cuenta las políticas públicas y el desempeño sectorial, los cambios organizativos y regulatorios, el contexto geopolítico y los ajustes en la relación bilateral con los Estados Unidos. En la primera parte de este documento se abordan los aspectos multidimensionales de seguridad energética y los principales modelos e indicadores para su evaluación. En la segunda parte se analiza la situación de la seguridad energética en México: el marco político, institucional y regulador; el panorama energético del país y un examen de histórico de la situación del suministro de la energía en el período 2000-2015.
