La participación del trabajo en el ingreso nacional: el regreso a un tema olvidado

Abstract

El propósito de este artículo es abordar el tema de la distribución funcional del ingreso en México, analizando lo sucedido en los últimos 30 años con la participación del trabajo en el ingreso nacional, y comparando esta realidad con la de otros países. Este objetivo obliga a examinar la trayectoria de la economía mexicana en materia de crecimiento, generación de empleo y evolución de los salarios, así como a explorar el papel que han desempeñado el modelo de inserción del país en el nuevo entorno global, el cambio tecnológico y las instituciones del trabajo. Estos elementos son cruciales para entender la distribución funcional del ingreso y algunos de los factores que inciden en la desigualdad y en el potencial de crecimiento.
