Abstract

Mediante los presupuestos públicos con perspectiva de género se busca orientar el gasto de manera más eficiente para reducir inequidades, tomando en cuenta las necesidades e impactos diferenciados entre mujeres y hombres. En este documento se analizan opciones de sistemas de clasificación y cuantificación del gasto público en género que sean comparables a nivel internacional y estén basados en marcos conceptuales comunes, acordes con los compromisos internacionales que los países han asumido en esta materia a fin de avanzar en el desarrollo de presupuestos públicos con perspectiva de género.
