Desarrollo de proveedores de la industria de dispositivos médicos en la Argentina

Abstract

En este documento se presentan los resultados de un estudio de campo sobre la industria de equipamiento y dispositivos médicos de la Argentina y se formulan propuestas de política para el desarrollo de proveedores locales, tanto de los insumos utilizados por este sector como de productos médicos de consumo final. Una característica original del estudio es que se basó casi íntegramente en el material obtenido de una encuesta que abarcó a casi 200 empresas, que se realizó, en su mayor parte, durante el último trimestre de 2023. La encuesta se complementó con la visita a una treintena de empresas donde se realizaron entrevistas a propietarios, directivos y técnicos, a fin de conocer en mayor detalle sus procesos productivos.
