Estrategia de transformación digital Chile Digital 2035: plan de conectividad efectiva

Abstract

La Comisión de Transportes y Telecomunicaciones del Senado de Chile, con la asistencia técnica de la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL), la colaboración de Chile Telcos y la Cámara Chilena de Infraestructura Digital, y la participación de diversas entidades del mundo público y privado, el sector académico y la sociedad civil lideró la elaboración de la Estrategia de transformación digital Chile Digital 2035. Uno de los pilares de la Estrategia es la conectividad efectiva, que prevé el desarrollo de infraestructura digital habilitante, el acceso a dispositivos adecuados y el desarrollo del talento digital necesario para que la ciudadanía pueda acceder a los beneficios de la digitalización. En ese sentido, el Plan de Conectividad Efectiva se enfoca en el cierre de brechas de demanda y de oferta, aborda temas vinculados con los determinantes de la cobertura, los niveles de acceso y uso, así como aspectos vinculados con la calidad y asequibilidad de servicios y dispositivos, y el desarrollo de habilidades digitales básicas y avanzadas. Además, presenta un diagnóstico detallado de la situación actual en la materia y una serie de recomendaciones de política para atender todos estos temas.
