Abstract

El comercio de servicios aumentó significativamente en las últimas décadas en todo el mundo, en particular en los países de la Alianza del Pacífico. Reflejar este fenómeno en las estimaciones estadísticas conlleva importantes desafíos debido, entre otras cosas, a las propias características de los servicios. En el presente documento se analiza el estado actual de la compilación y difusión de estadísticas del comercio internacional de servicios en los países de la Alianza del Pacífico, al tiempo que se presentan algunas sugerencias y líneas de trabajo hacia el futuro.
