Diversificación de la estructura de la escuela secundaria y segmentación educativa en América Latina

Abstract

Contribuir al desarrollo de políticas públicas más inclusivas es uno de los objetivos principales de esta serie de estudios sobre la diversificación de la educación secundaria y la segmentación educativa en América Latina. En este documento se presentan los resultados de un estudio cuantitativo y cualitativo acerca de las dinámicas de segmentación educativa en seis países de la región, así como un análisis de la experiencia de adolescentes y jóvenes en escenarios de extensión de la obligatoriedad escolar. El estudio refleja los avances significativos en la ampliación de la escolarización, pero también los desafíos que aún persisten a la hora de garantizar experiencias escolares comunes, igualitarias y de calidad con atención a la diversidad.
