La cohesión social democrática como brújula: algunas precisiones y un avance conceptual

Abstract

La cohesión social se encuentra hoy puesta en cuestión en los más diversos ámbitos, desde los fenómenos de tipo populista en numerosos países del planeta, hasta las guerras comerciales en curso. La siguiente reflexión tiene como objetivo proseguir la discusión sobre la cohesión social iniciada en la CEPAL en 2006, para formular y fundamentar un avance conceptual en la materia. A partir de diversas experiencias históricas y del análisis de fenómenos políticos contemporáneos se realiza un esfuerzo de abstracción que permite establecer algunas precisiones y distinguir las exigencias conceptuales.
