Abstract

Las microempresas, pequeñas empresas y medianas empresas (MIPyMEs) constituyen el conjunto más importante de empresas en el Perú, en especial desde el punto de vista del número de empresas y del empleo. Sin embargo, muestran serios problemas institucionales, económicos, financieros, que las hace operar bajo condiciones desafiantes. El objetivo del presente estudio es evaluar la experiencia de inclusión financiera de las MIPyMEs peruanas, de productos e instituciones financieras, relievando el rol de la banca de desarrollo para atender sus necesidades, sea de manera directa o a través de sus vínculos con otras instituciones financieras, del país.
