Infraestructura logística para una mejor gobernanza de la cadena del carbón en Colombia

Abstract

En este estudio se hace una caracterización de los distintos tipos de carbón que se explotan en Colombia por la pequeña, mediana y gran minería y se exhibe la importancia económica y social de este mineral en el desarrollo de la economía nacional. Asimismo, se evalúa la infraestructura y la logística del carbón analizando, especialmente, los servicios disponibles para la mediana y pequeña minería, donde se observan los mayores déficits de infraestructura así como los más altos costos logísticos, aspectos que afectan la competitividad y sostenibilidad de las exportaciones de carbón.
