Aspectos metodológicos en el vínculo entre recursos naturales y logística regional

Abstract

En este documento se analiza el vínculo entre recursos naturales e integración regional, aspecto de suma importancia para América Latina y el Caribe, dado que la integración regional de infraestructuras logísticas para brindar servicios regionales representa una solución más conveniente para saldar la brecha de infraestructura, permitiendo el aprovechamiento de los enclaves productivos de recursos naturales para el desarrollo social y económico de las zonas y poblaciones donde se lleva a cabo esta actividad. Esto permite no solamente ser más competitivo y reducir los impactos ambientales y sociales de estas nuevas obras, sino también favorecer encadenamientos productivos, reexportaciones con valor agregado y un mayor grado de especialización productiva, así como desarrollar ventajas competitivas en los mercados globales.
