BBVA: 1991-2007. Creación de valor y rentabilidad

Abstract

Entre diciembre de 1991 y diciembre de 2007, el aumento de la capitalización de BBVA fue de 59,1 millardos de euros, y la creación de valor para los accionistas fue de 18,7 millardos de euros. La rentabilidad anual media de BBVA fue del 18,3%, sensiblemente superior a la del IBEX 35 (15,1%): cada euro invertido en acciones de BBV en diciembre de 1991 se convirtió en 14,7 euros en diciembre de 2007, mientras que un euro invertido en el IBEX se convirtió en 9,5 euros. La inflación media fue del 3,4%. La capitalización de BBVA en diciembre de 2007 fue el 12% de la capitalización del IBEX 35; durante estos años osciló entre el 5,6% y el 16,5%.
