Le mouvement syndical dans le sport professionnel

Abstract

De nombreux conflits entre les sportifs de haut niveau et leur employeur ont éclaté ces dernières années, mettant en avant la dimension syndicale dans ce secteur, jusqu’ici peu connue du grand public. Ce rapport a pour objectif, outre de rappeler les principales caractéristiques du syndicat traditionnel, de déterminer les missions et les spécificités du mouvement syndical dans le sport professionnel et de décrire l’évolution des relations collectives dans le monde du sport professionnel nord-américain et européen et le cadre spécifique qui les entoure. L’étape suivante consiste à définir si ces associations de sportifs se rapprochent plus du modèle de syndicat américain ou européen. Force est de constater que celles-ci présentent une forme hybride.
