Sondervermögen allein reichen nicht – Fünf dringende Maßnahmen für den Standort Deutschland

Abstract

Deutschlands Wettbewerbsfähigkeit erodiert, weil die Standortbedingungen für Investitionen nicht mehr stimmen. Das diagnostizieren auch Union und SPD in ihrem Sondierungspapier. Leider zeigt sich, dass die darin vorgeschlagenen Maßnahmen unzureichend und von Partikularinteressen getrieben sind. Dabei müssen fünf wichtige Rahmenbedingungen gezielt verbessert werden: analoge sowie digitale Infrastruktur, Bürokratie, Erhöhung des Erwerbspersonenpotenzials und innere Sicherheit. In den anstehenden Koalitionsverhandlungen müssen beide Parteien mehr Verantwortung für Deutschland übernehmen. Auch der Bundestag kann bei der Gewährung der geplanten Sondervermögen eine zentrale Rolle spielen, indem die Freigabe der Sondervermögen an Fort-schritte beim Reformprozess zur Verbesserung der Standortbedingungen geknüpft werden.
