Die Tageshaftungskosten der deutschen Strafvollzugsanstalten: Ein Überblick

Abstract

Der Beitrag stellt das bundeseinheitliche Schema zur Ermittlung der Tageshaftkosten in den deutschen Bundesländern vor und liefert einen Überblick der ausgewiesenen Tageshaftkosten aus dem Haushaltsjahr 2001. Die Bandbreite dieser direkten Kosten liegt zwischen 61,09 Euro pro Hafttag in Bayern und 91,40 Euro in Hamburg. Für einen ersten Versuch diese gefängnisspezifischen Kosten auf die Kostenverursacher, darunter werden unterschiedliche Straftatengruppen verstanden zu verteilen, dienen Informationen die aus dem amerikanischen Strafvollzug gewonnen werden können.
