Das Potenzial für Haushaltsphotovoltaik in Deutschland

Abstract

Diese Studie beschreibt die regionale Verbreitung der Haushalts­photovoltaik in Deutschland. Bis Ende 2023 war jedes achte Wohngebäude in Deutschland damit bestückt. Für das Erreichen der Klimaschutzziele gilt es den Zubau weiter zu beschleunigen. Dies ist auch deshalb wichtig, weil mit der Haushalts­photovoltaik Strom dezentral erzeugt und verbraucht werden kann, sodass Stromnetz­kapazitäten geschont werden. Allerdings sind nicht alle Regionen gleichermaßen dafür geeignet. Globalstrahlung bestimmt, wie viel Strom eine Photovoltaik­anlage erzeugen kann. Unter Berücksichtigung der regionalen Globalstrahlung bieten folgende Regionen aktuell großes Potenzial für Haushalts­photovoltaik: Bremen, Hamburg, das Saarland, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, die Region um Dresden, Schleswig-Holstein, die Regionen um Lüneburg und Trier sowie Teile von Oberbayern, Thüringen und Südhessen. Informations­angebote und Werbeaktivitäten von Photovoltaik­anbietern können in diesen Regionen besonders vielversprechend sein.
