Le Bien-être des Français – Septembre 2022

Abstract

Notre tableau de bord de septembre montre une dégradation des indicateurs de bien-être les plus sensibles aux conditions matérielles : satisfaction à l’égard du niveau de vie, anticipations quant aux prochaines années. Par conséquent, la satisfaction dans la vie se replie elle aussi, mais dans une moindre mesure car les dimensions de bien-être émotionnel restent stables. Cette inquiétude doit naturellement beaucoup à la conjoncture économique et à l’inflation. L’indice synthétique de confiance des ménages reste très bas, et près des trois quarts des ménages s’attendent à une poursuite de l’inflation au moins à son rythme actuel sur les 12 prochains mois. Au regard de ces anticipations très négatives, le recul de la satisfaction dans la vie reste limité. Socialement, ces inquiétudes touchent tant les classes moyennes que les ménages modestes. Le contraste est en fait surtout générationnel : sur plusieurs mesures, les moins de 45 ans sont les plus affectés.
