Algunas consideraciones (para economistas) para la presentación de informes que incluyen tablas y gráficos empleando Microsoft Word en Windows

Abstract

La apariencia profesional y la facilidad de ser leído de un informe depende en gran medida de su presentación y de seguir las convenciones tradicionales en la profesión. Naturalmente el contenido del informe es muy importante, pero la manera como se presenta la información puede ser un determinante fundamental de su éxito al momento de alcanzar los objetivos de comunicación deseados. En especial, al presentar información cuantitativa los informes técnicos deben ser precisos y lo más claros posibles para evitar malas interpretaciones, ambigüedades o pérdida de tiempo del lector para encontrar e interpretar la información deseada. Estas notas tienen como objetivo presentar unas convenciones empleadas por los economistas para reportar información en forma de tabla o gráficos, de tal forma que ésta quede ordenada y sea fácilmente interpretada y entendida por cualquier lector.
