La Agricultura en la Determinación del Desarrollo Colombiano

Abstract

A partir de la hipótesis de que la agricultura genera desarrollo se esbozan tres argumentos principales necesarios para determinarlo, el primero es la creación de tejido social con la incorporación del capital social, cultural y económico. El segundo, resalta el papel de las fuerzas productivas locales y los saberes de las comunidades que habitan el territorio que conforman un acervo de conocimiento esencial para el desarrollo. Y, por último, se exhiben las ventajas competitivas en el contexto nacional. Lo anterior constituye una aproximación de lo que se puede hacer en términos de agricultura en Colombia, siendo este un país sumamente biodiverso, y se plantea partiendo de la premisa de que es imposible industrializarse sin haber desarrollado previamente la agricultura.
