Abstract

La crisis financiera de 2008 reavivo la discusión sobre la necesidad de Redes de Asistencia Financiera Internacional, las cuales. A la fecha las redes existentes de este tipo han mostrado ser insuficientes para los países emergentes. En línea con esto el presente documento estudia los beneficios y el alcance de la estructura de reservas y riesgo del Fondo Latinoamericano de Reservas (FLAR).Además de esto se exploran algunas posibilidades para el desarrollo futuro del FLAR.
