Ambientalismo Y Comercio Justo ¿Capitalismo responsable?

Abstract

Resumen Los incentivos actuales de desarrollo social, se dan a partir del crecimiento económico que ha exigido la extracción intensiva de recursos, trayendo consecuencias ambientales que han afectado la supervivencia misma de los seres concentrados en la biosfera, (generalmente, las comunidades más vulnerables son las más pobres). Este problema cautiva la atención de las organizaciones sociales que se han movilizado para proponer nuevas alternativas al actual modelo de producción. Sin embargo, al ser el capitalismo un sistema que interactúa y domina diferentes redes, propone una relación light con el ambiente y la justicia en el comercio internacional; pero la lógica del modelo continúa generando desigualdad y contaminación. En este contexto, es fundamental entender la importancia del ambientalismo y el comercio justo como procesos necesarios, en la búsqueda de un nuevo modelo.
