Hacia la institucionalización de la medición del ciclo económico colombiano: una propuesta

Abstract

Este artículo propone institucionalizar la medición del ciclo económico colombiano mediante la creaciónde un comité no partidista, cuyos miembros provendrían principalmente de las universidades públicas yprivadas. Con el objeto de asegurar un grado importante de diversidad regional, un mínimo de miembrosdel comité provendría de lugares distintos a Bogotá. En adición a la tradicional medición del ciclo basada en el PIB, se propone instaurar una medición basada en el nivel de empleo.
