Abstract

Resumen Con base en los registros ociales de 13.440 personas del Instituto Nacional Penitenciario y Carcelario (INPEC) sobre la población reclusa en octubre de 2011, se investiga haciendo uso de modelos de duración paramétricos, cuáles son los factores que determinan la reincidencia, y su duración, en Colombia. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* Abstract Using fully parametric duration (survival) analysis, I investigate the factors that may determine the timing of recidivism in Colombia. The dataset comprises a cross-section of 13.440 individuals in October 2011, and it was provided by INPEC.
