Impacto de la crisis del sector rural en el mercado laboral urbano y nacional un análisis de vectores autoregresivos

Abstract

Este ensayo evalúa el impacto de la crisis de ocupación y desempleo del sector rural sobre el mercado de trabajo urbano y nacional. El análisis desagrega el espacio urbano entre grandes ciudades y pequenas cabeceras municipales, examina la estructura, la participación y la evolución de las variables laborales que caracterizan cada uno de esos espacios territoriales y económicos, estableciendo su peso real dentro del mercado laboral del país. Las relaciones encontradas se someten a un análisis de Vectores Auto Regresivos probando empíricamente la hipótesis de que las fluctuaciones de la ocupación rural y del desempleo afectan el desempleo de las pequenas cabeceras y a través de éstas el urbano, y, por lo tanto, el nacional.
